Alan Sosa was one of the first to speak and highlighted the emotional value of the result. “It was a pending debt we had with ourselves and with the people. I think today we were able to settle that a bit,” said the midfielder, emphasizing the need to become strong at home.
The midfielder also focused on the intensity of the tournament and the importance of rotation within the squad. “The matches in this category are a war. Some players will drop off, others will keep coming in and they will do it well,” he stated, while valuing the unity of the group.
In his analysis, Sosa considered that Patronato deserved to win, although he pointed out aspects to improve. “We were fair winners, but we need to close out games earlier so we don’t suffer until the end,” he said, making clear the team still has room for growth.
The goalkeeper also emphasized the emotional impact of the opening goal. “Football is very emotional, it’s all about momentum. Patronato is a different team when they score first,” he explained, highlighting how the team’s performance changes when it takes the lead.

The defender also valued the collective work against a demanding opponent. “We knew it was going to be a very tough match. They are positioned in the Reduced tournament places and playing very well,” he explained, underlining the importance of being strong at home.
Hernán Rivero, scorer of the second goal, also shared his view of the match. “I am happy because my teammates supported me a lot during the week,” he expressed, highlighting the backing of the group and the coaching staff.
Rivero stressed the importance of collective effort in a very physical category. “The coaching staff asked us to do the dirty work, which is a big part of the game in this category,” he said, highlighting the team’s tactical discipline.
The forward also had words of support for his teammates, especially Federico Bravo, who left due to injury. “He is a very important teammate for us,” he regretted.
